Dynamic flat panel DRF assists in the application of ERCP to relieve biliary obstruction for patients!
Perlove dynamic flat panel DRF work with ERCP can provide a more intuitive and accurate display of the range, location, and morphology of pancreatic and biliary duct lesions. This greatly reduces radiation and enables clear diagnosis and appropriate treatment for patients with pancreatic and biliary diseases.
ERCP is a procedure in which a duodenoscope is used to directly observe the opening of the duodenal papilla. A catheter is then inserted to inject contrast medium, and the pancreatic duct, bile duct, and gallbladder are visualized and imaged under X-ray fluoroscopy. Given that ERCP is conducted via the body’s natural cavity, it provides benefits such as being non-surgical, minimally invasive, characterized by short procedure times, and associated with swift recovery. As a result, it has become the preferred method for diagnosing and treating the majority of biliary and pancreatic diseases.
In terms of angiography, image clarity and radiation dosage are the two most important aspects in evaluating its clinical. The Perlove dynamic flat panel DRF is a digital X-ray imaging system suitable for near-table operations. The machine is equipped with a high frame rate dynamic flat panel detector, with a large imaging field of 17×17 inches, which can fully cover the surgical area, thereby shortening the examination time and effectively reducing radiation. The equipment adopts advanced pulse fluoroscopy technology, presenting superior image spatial resolution and rich details, providing a reliable basis for accurate diagnosis.

Case1
The patient experienced intermittent upper abdominal distension for 4 months. MRCP confirmed the choledocholithiasis and gallstone . Conventional surgery would require an incision of the common bile duct for stone removal. Considering the patient’s preferences, the doctor decided to attempt ERCP to minimize trauma and facilitate rapid recovery. During the procedure, a guidewire was passed through the duodenal papilla (the lower opening of the common bile duct) using a duodenoscope, and contrast medium was injected for imaging under X-ray fluoroscopy. This allowed for diagnosis of the condition within the common bile duct, followed by stone removal based on the diagnosis.

Case2
The patient had intermittent upper abdominal distension for 2 years, and MRCP showed significant megacholedochus and multiple gallstones. The doctor decided to use ERCP to relieve biliary obstruction and ensure smooth drainage. ERCP procedure was successfully completed under fluoroscopy, and all the stones were removed. Postoperative observation showed smooth bile drainage, and the patient’s condition remained stable.
In summary, as a new generation of digital fluoroscopy X-ray machines, the Perlove dynamic flat panel DRF has rapid imaging capabilities, meets high-quality image requirements, and ensures safety for near-table operations. The application of ERCP on this equipment is a reliable method for diagnosing and treating pancreatic and biliary diseases.
