Dynamic DR (digital X-ray machine) of conventional photography

1. Head and neck

Indications: Paranasal sinus inflammation, foreign bodies in the oesophagus, etc.

2. Spine, limb bones and joints

Indications: Bone age examination, congenital developmental abnormalities, bone ischaemic necrosis; osteoporosis, osteomyelitis, bone tumours, bone and joint trauma, bone and joint tuberculosis, bone and joint inflammatory lesions, soft tissue lesions and other diseases.

3. Chest

Indications: tracheobronchial disease (bronchial stones and foreign bodies, etc.); lung pathology (congenital abnormalities, inflammation, tuberculosis, tumours, etc.); mediastinal pathology (emphysema, haematoma, tumours and cysts, etc.).

4. Abdomen

Indications: perforation of the digestive tract, intestinal obstruction, various positive stones and contrast spot films, etc.

Dynamic applications of dynamic DR (digital X-ray machine)

1. Oesophagogram

Indications: It is mainly used for the examination of oesophageal tumour, foreign body, food perforation and congenital anomalies, such as the site and extent of oesophageal lesion tumour, the presence of oesophageal varices in patients with portal hypertension, oesophageal hiatal hernia, mediastinal tumour, compression of oesophagus by cardiovascular diseases, etc. Barium double contrast imaging can clearly show the mucosal structure of the oesophagus.

2. Hysterosalpingography (tubalography)

Indications: Hysterosalpingography is a method of examining the uterine cavity and the fallopian tubes by injecting contrast into the uterine cavity through a catheter to visualize the cavity and the fallopian tubes, and to find out whether the tubes are patent, the site of obstruction and the morphology of the uterine cavity according to the visualization and diffusion of the contrast in the fallopian tubes and pelvis.

Advantages of Dynamic DR (Digital X-ray)

1. Digital fluoroscopy

It is suitable for fluoroscopy of all parts of the body, such as occult rib fractures, chest X-ray, and supports extremely fast switching of 9 megapixel spot films.

2. Whole body stitching

For orthopaedic joint replacement, spinal orthopaedic surgery, etc., providing whole lower limb or whole spine stitching images, facilitating preoperative planning and postoperative outcome assessment.

3. Paediatric negative foreign body examination

At present, conventional DR and CT are difficult to detect. Dynamic DR can avoid misdiagnosis of pneumonia by observing changes in lung images based on dynamic observation of the complete respiratory cycle.

4．Pediatric pre-positioned filming

In conventional photography, pathological signs are often missed due to overlapping images or body position, but in dynamic photography, it is easier to detect these lesions, thus improving the efficiency and diagnostic rate.
